Haeundae Beach and Market
This beach is just a bit father up the Green Line than Gwangalli, but it's arguably as beautiful. I'd say its a great stop in the early morning, something about the crisp air makes it extra special.
Northing like an early morning stroll on the Haeundae Beach
About a block away from the entrance of the beach is a market that has some more unique restaurants for a market and make it a great spot for breakfast. So, if you get to the beach around 9:30 and spend an hour there a few of the really good stands that serve steamed buns, dumplings, and some more "typical" Korean food should be open by then. There are, once again, many options for snacks and full meals.

Of all the beaches to check out, there's one more must see
Songdo Beach
Songdo beach is really close to Amnam Park which has spectacular views and cliffs. Both are a must see for nature enthusiasts. Songdo was particularly different because it combined a view of the sea, the city, commerce with ships in the harbor, and people just having a great time. Just check out the insane view looking back into the bay.
That look is then countered by an equally intriguing view looking back out to the ocean. This is why it is my favorite beach from the trip, but honestly all were beautiful and had a great flare all their own. The fishing trawlers, larger commercial vessels, and container ships make a really unique view
Sadly, I didn't get any good pictures of Amnam Park but it's worth a visit. You can take a short cab from the Orange Line down to the beach and then walk or take another cab down to the park. Both are super inexpensive as it's only about 2 and 1/2 miles down the road. There were some other unique things that I captured on my journey, like street foods, festivals, and performances but those are unique to the time of year you visit. What isn't unique is the vibrancy and liveliness of everything happening in Busan. I did my trip in two days but I highly suggest three.
Having three days would give you the opportunity to check out a couple of the great temples that are a little more inaccessible and you'd have even more time to check out the local food. For me, I walked over 45 mile to get all the sights in, but there are definitely easier ways to do it. I spent a lot time walking around each location looking for some awesome viewpoints to share. Be sure to wear some good tennis shoes if you do the same!
